The mark of a musician is how they sound live. There is nothing more disappointing than going to see a band and realizing they are CRAP live and that it was all studio tweaking that you hear on the radio. THIS my friends, sounds EXACTLY like what you here on the album. God bless ya Alexi Murdoch!

They say all the greatest songs have been written. This disproves that. The work of utter genius - composition, lyrics, production. When mankind fades into the darkness, this should be our anthem. Bless you.

its really really nice to hear a artist that sounds the exact same on a album and live. you never see that today. even in the Folk genre

There are many, many musicians whose onstage music is of equal or greater quality than their studio performances. However, I am always disappointed to hear a live performance that duplicates a recording. If I want to hear the studio version for the umpteenth time, I could listen to it at home, in my car, or riding my bike in the woods. OTH, really good musicians let their performances evolve and they play their tunes differently every time, or at least every tour. The performance of "All My Days" in this video is different than and superior to than the studio recording. So much more present and intimate. A great example of of why I love experiencing live music. Also, having recordings of performances like this available is one of the two best things about KZbin.

I love finding artists like this. You hear their song on the radio, or in a tv show or commercial, and when you find a live version, you find out that the studio edit changed NOTHING, and they have absolute talent.

This may sound stupid but I feel this song could have been written for me. I know it wasn't but It described me so well. I spent most of my life down and depressed. Nothing seemed to be good or right. Then one day things just got better. I stopped being depressed and being grateful for the life I lived. I am still living my life the happiest way I can and things are doing really great for me. I would really love to commemorate this song in a tattoo somehow and get it one day.

One of my by far favorite songs. I used to watch Real Steel with my cousin and we would go have play boxing matches after because we were so hyped up on caffeine. I'm pretty young I know, I'm only 14. But this song makes me remember when I was 8 and makes me feel old as hell but so happy. This is such a beautiful song written by such a talented man with a cool accent. I only listened to the lyrics late last year, and it has really gotten to me. I used to just listen to it because of the agile guitar part at the beginning, but now I listen to it when I'm in the feels. Much love!
