Agreed. It's nice to hear blues, folk, etc. still exist in 2024 and that people are interested in playing it and listening to it. This particular song was released in 2002 (22 years ago), so it's not as new as you think. Still awesome though. :)

This song was my best friends favorite song we’d play it all the time when we would go climbing. In 2003 he passed away due to heart issues while leading a climb. Died in my arms played this at his funeral.

I’m right here with you in 2021. Amazon music played it the other night. I happened to look up and notice my 9 month old smiling sweetly at me with the lyrics “my salvation lies in your love” playing simultaneously. My heart filled up with tears that fell from my eyes. Love this song so much!
