Alexinho's 2nd Round pretty much countered Pash's entire first round and he added a finisher. Pash did sounds Alexinho couldn't do in the second round but so did Alex in the 1st round. Don't get me wrong, this was one of the closest battles in the tournament. Both Artists should get the respect they deserve.

if u watch, dharni is freaking loving pash but the judges are not. while dharni just arrived to the battles that day because he was preparing for sbx camp, the judges have already seen pash’s overused structure in the previous battles. pash rounds are pretty much all the same tbh, just changing the special sound every now and then. so i think if you watch this battle alone, pash is winning, but if you watch this with the other battles, pash quite repetitive. and also, alexinho’s flow watching this for the first time was legendary

Best battle of all championships. Semi finals are always the best. They say you save the best patterns for the final but its more than probable that u will use some patterns earlier than you want in order to win. So u end up giving your best at semis and hope you have enough creativity to make a routine right before finals XD. Every beatboxer who fights know this feeling. Alexinho is constantly improving, his rounds left me with jaw dropped. Perfect battler. Pash made a mistake of not responding to Alexinho poke. Neither did he copy him. Those who keep saying Pash won clearly dont know the importance of structure and stage pressence. You guys gotta understand that they judge the skills in beatboxing in each performance, not just the unique sounds they introduce and use but how theyre used. Pash was pure uniqueness in both rounds, but Alexinho destroyed in where Pash lacked, which is structure and technicality.

If I'm being honest, i think this is the only battle in this year's championship that he won fairly (albeit I still question 5-0 instead of say 4-1). I know the battles were seeded, but it seems a bit suspect that Napom-Gene got matched up and Alexinho-Efaybee got matched up, the latter definitely seeming like a battle throw (I mean come on, look at Efaybee's second round, he has more routines besides his elimination and spamming an outward liproll..) and I personally believe that while Alexinho has great flow, stage presence/battle feel and technicality, he was really repetitive throughout the competition. Granted, everyone who passed top 16 repeated a bit, even B-Art, but I felt like his rounds in the finals weren't anything new compared to battles he'd done previously in this competition, other competitions etc. whereas B-Art's routines were still relatively original. It also seemed like Alexinho was trolling every battle, which I personally don't think should be fitting for the BBWC. Sure, it's good to have fun in battles and to have strong presence, but if you're gonna troll in every battle, do it like Supernova and in smaller-scale comps. In larger comps like this, I feel like you should take it more seriously, you know? 3 years of prep amounting to this and still winning against everyone.. it just seems disrespectful. Maybe not rigged/intentional, but I really don't think Alexinho should've got the title.

I'm not saying I wanted Alem vs Napom again (in fact, I would've hated that), and I did say that this battle was definitely Alexinho's win, but I'm saying that in his other battles, I felt like he wasn't introducing anything new compared to previous rounds/previous competitions. and as I pointed out with his battle against Efaybee, yes, Alexinho clearly won, but Efaybee didn't put up much of a fight to begin with (look at his 2nd round, as I said..). Also, yes, Alexinho knows how to enjoy the crowd and does have good structure, control and flow - but those are nothing if you repeat the same/similar structures, flows and sounds as he did.

This was a really solid match up. Both brought unique concepts to the table but overall it's my honest belief Pash had exhausted nearly most of his top tier sounds by the 2nd round. Not a bad thing since they both managed to play off each other. Alex had a little more 'fresh' material and I think that's why he won but don't get me wrong, this is proof why they are considered the best in the world. I was truly wanting Alem to pull the two time off and I couldn't even see Babeli vs Alem :(

Alex clearly won every battle in my opinion, he destroyed efaybee, close one against napom “napom wasn’t clean suprisingly” and pash was too repetitive so all Alex had to do was make a clean couple of routines and get the crowd going, and finally b-art he his known for battling against he knew what he had to do.
