@@jonathanmartin7046 Negative. The Grand national wasn't produced for four years prior. The only comparison is it had a turbo. Not trying to argue but a driveline basically means from the fan to the wheel bearings...... If it wasn't for the 231 GM would have filed bankruptcy 20 years sooner than they did that motor was the only thing that kept them going through the eighties. Good little motor though.

Being away from home does take a toll on your family. I worked on the road for thirty years and the cost has been high. If you have been gone for month at a time and your wife and kids have been fine count your blessings. I gave up the road when I started my second family and its been night and day from the first time around. I think my kids are much more healthy. I never missed any of their life this time. Money only does so much for a person.
