Didn't know she was in handmaid's tale. However, I think I only watched the first season. Tuck everlasting was a good movie. The book was very enjoyable, read it in a single sitting one night. Obviously better than the movie, but I'm a snob lol

I loved girlmore girls in my teens, and rewatched it in my 30s all over again. Unfortunately, bledel acting truly sucked, the rest of the cast really carried the show, they were all great,, but she was always so sweet to watch and portrayed the 2nd role everyone loves so I kept watching. Lauren Graham was truly the star, she acted her crazy character just perfect.

@@venturacounty22 The novel is one of the most important modern classics. A must-read for everyone who cares about women's rights. The show is an exceptionally good adaption because Margaret Atwood herself works on it. GG was nothing but a cheesy TV soap and clearly did not show what Alexis Bledel can do as an actress.

@@alstound “stole”, do you know how Emmy committees work… you can’t metaphorically steal an Emmy win. Claire stars in the crown, a period piece (obviously) so the main characters within the monarchy change often, therefore her acting role. The same thing happened to Alexis. She was also nominated in 2018 for supporting actress, after her win in the guest actress category. It happens all the time. Let’s not be bitter, sure we all would have loved Alexis to win again, but there was no metaphorical stealing going on.

I would undoubtedly like to make two personal notes, beyond the character in GG, I think there are three important projects, although Alexis participated very little in Sin City and Mad Men and with more weight in The Handmaid is tale. The other films are actually not very outstanding projects, aimlessly, as she herself says. On the other hand, it fills me with curiosity in the person of Alexis, her Latino origin, how she will carry that Hispanic part behind today, not only in the Spanish language, but in the cultural part of her upbringing as she is the daughter of an Argentine and a Mexican. Will you like tequila and tacos? ha. Maybe it's something dystopian, but seeing her in a project in Spanish would be idyllic. Needless to say, she is the most beautiful actress I have ever seen.

Being picky in roles doesn’t mean she isn’t selfless, or has no qualities as such. She was scouted, which happens to many woman. It’s what you do with the opportunity and how hard you work that allows you to be successful. She’s always been a great actress and she’s been working more hours than the average teen and young adult does from a very young age. To say something is handed to her because she wasn’t in a different job sector is silly. Work is still work. She put a lot of hours in to her career in her youth which allows her to be picky in what she selects now.
