I don’t like the dress on either of them. It just doesn’t look right for them period. Nice dress though. Also, Linda Evans has always been kind of athletic. She would sometimes do her own stunts on The Big Valley. With that said, the costumers needed to be selective when choosing her costumes. Color and fabric matters; but so does the style of the outfit itself. Joan needed a shorter dress. This dress was too long for her. She needed a TRUE flapper style dress; but where the skirt landed above the knee.
