Oh and my comment is that Lexi is a phenominal dancer, there is no question that she is very beautiful on stage and very balletic - where as Amanda is a spunky little fireball....but they love each other = and we get along really great.... ;) there is a such thing as friendly competitors.....

I agree with dancedevil94! You are a very good dancer and you sell the routine very good. Not to mention flawless turns and especially at age 8! Your a very strong dancer and will go far in the dance world. If you grew tall enough you could be a rockete girlie!!!!! Excellente! This song is very fun to dance to as well. (i have before) Great job!!!

Everyone is allowed to have their own opinions, very good point JAZZDANCE13, and I will never knock down another persons opinion or say they are wrong, but I expect the same back. I too agree with DanceDancebaby100, Alexis is more refined and she is beautiful too watch. She puts a smile on my face when she dances and makes me feel good. Keep up the good work Alexis!

Lexi is now 11 and Amanda is now 9. But this past yr they both got to dance at some comps as 10 and 8 respectively. They are exactly 2 yrs and 1 day apart, so they are never in the same age category. ;) Lexi won at regionals w/Papa and at finals w/Big Noise. Amanda won at regionals w/Tap & at finals w/Jazz.

Just to clarify. This was in 2005 and Lexi (age 8/9)won 1st Overall and Amanda (age 6/7) won 2nd Overall. Lexi also won the Solo Showdown. She deserved it. Amanda and her were very happy for each other as they had some very stiff competitione. The are 2 yrs and 1 day apart and the maturity is different. I love them both very much!

I just want to comment on Lexi's dance since her Mom is one of my best friends and Lexi and Amanda are very close. I think her mom would agree because we have discussed this before but the 2 girls dance totally different. And Amanda was 8 and under all yr at hof, they never did a regional together. We did finals together. Lexi won jrs & Amanda won 8 under.

i agree with u 100 percent..i cant stand when they do dances with a bunch of acrobatic trics..they forget the whole point of dancing.

no she wasnt! that is an extremely advanced dance especially when she is just 8 i know i cant do that i thought it was great!

yeah a bun would be easier for her since she has so many turns, but i dont think they are uncomfortable i love it cuz then my hair is completely out of my face!
