Your videos helped me to gain the confidence I needed to give myself two self-haircuts thus far. I was pleased with the results it got me as well. I like how detailed your videos are explaining each step. Some self-haircut videos leave you confused about the steps, but not yours. I’m someone that cares a lot about how my hair looks, and I agree with you that having a nice large mirror setup is key to seeing your head from different angles. I made sure to take my time and if ever in doubt it’s important stop and reassess what you’re doing before moving forward. With patience and pretty decent manual dexterity skill along with the above stated, it isn’t hard to give yourself an acceptable or even really good self-haircut. Thanks for all your advice on this subject!

I think your self cuts would be on par with most professional barbers however in terms of giving a client a high quality haircut different story that’s where there best work shines & that’s where they make there money.

Alex, during this pandemic I watched your videos and you gave me the courage and directions to fade my hair. I went to Walmart got me the mirror and a good Wahl clipper and I’m doing my own hair man! I’m getting better and better. I’m even starting to line myself up and get a hard part cut in. You could do some more vids on that for sure it would be helpful. Thanks man!!!!

I’ve been cutting my own hair off and on. I do it because I think it’s something we should know how to do as men. Just like how women do their makeup, men should be regularly grooming themselves in the privacy of their homes to come out looking fresher than the day before!!

Walmart or Target has them for $7. If not other stores should sell similar mirrors as well. It’s 4ft length by 1ft width.

I learnt from you & TBH I can give myself a better haircut than the barbers in my city now. I had to make a 360 mirror for myself though with led lights to help me get the perfect blurry fade. It is not about saving money for me though, it is about learning the skill & having fun

I respect what he’s doing but to say in your add for ur course that barbers prices are inflated is just a slap In the face to us as professionals….we provide a experience and a feeling that u can’t get cutting ur own hair in your bathroom.
