I remember being young and used to be a "gangsta rap" guy, and noticed when i started to "grow up" how maturing makes your life and lifestyle preferences and likes start to change. When I was a wee lass, I'd scamper about the Texas prairie listening to 90s country radio. One day in my father's body shop, this song came on and I decided to perform it aloud for what I thought was an imaginary audience. I turned around to find him and a couple local yokels watching me, beers in hand, trying so hard not to laugh. M o r t i f i e d 😂--but here I am, still singing along w/ the same enthusiasm! 🤠

This song hits me hard. Born in 95 in Miami my dad is an avid hunter and would take me to Alabama to hunt deer and we would play this song and other country classics. After going to jamboree in the hills 2000-02 seeing many from Alabama, Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis, Clint Black, Hank Williams jr, Alan Jackson, Travis trit, Charlie Daniels n many more, it’s growing on me more as I get older. Randy Vanwarmer was such a talented singer/songwriter. He was not a one hit wonder. Many of his beautiful ballads can be found on KZbin, and many have recorded his songs. He also wrote "I Guess It Never Hurts to Hurt Sometimes" which was a hit for the Oak Ridge Boys. Sadly, he died at the young age of 48 of leukemia.

My mom loved this song and would actually do a little work out video on VHS with this song and a few others on it. Crying singing and then the phone rings and it's the guy I just showed her house to and he had an offer and we took it. Best offer yet. It was my mom telling me that this is it and go with it.

But I wanted to tell you is.....when I heard this song an others..I said wow. This is amazing . Fantastic. Out of this world. Believe me I was breathless. Your all talented an a very good looking group. An I'm very proud of you as a spectator. I wish I was at your concerts. Alot of music doesn't move me. But yours blew me away. An hope I see you again. He drove it home one night, about 1:30 a.m. and parked the car, by his bed room window. An hour later, he was awaken to the sound of his Baracuda starting. He jumped out of Bed and ran to the outside of his house, just in time to see his Baracuda go out his drive way... NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN!! Heart Broke isn't the word for it.. I was say 36 when I had my first my first and last ride in a Charger... That 70's Model. The frame was solid, body was good and the engine was a beast... Me and a guy that I don't see eye to eye with anymore hit a back straight of Nevada, heading towards a California line and he lit it up... Windows down and we were GONE... ... ... I mentioned everything about the car but the insides... His seat was bolted in, mine wasn't... We didn't have seat belts... That engine just kept going and going... 100, 120 and 150 was the end of it's odometer but it kept going and pulling the entire time... It wasn't done when he let off... ... ... The windows were rolled down and my hand wanted to go out but it couldn't, it was deafening... And I felt the wind and the noise and let go of everything in my life... I felt free and let go for the first time in my life... It's to late to think now, your already there inside a machine that will not stop moving faster and faster... I never it's pulling stop on me as I was back in the seat the entire time... ... ... The only thing I felt is when he let off of the gas... And if you want to tell that I wasn't going 170 in a Rattle Canned General Lee...😶😶😶 Then more power or less to you all...😂😂😂
