2018 Proton Prevé 1.6 Turbo Executive Start-Up and Full Vehicle Tour

Hello everyone! Today's video will be about the Malaysian-spec 2018 Proton Prevé four door saloon with the 1.6 litre CamPro CFE turbocharged petrol engine producing 138 hp (140 PS) paired to a CVT in the Executive trim.
Below is the list of current Prevé four door saloon variants available in Malaysia as of 14th September 2019. I arranged it from the cheapest to the most expensive.

@@po1ariser yea but preve actually (may be funny if i say this) looks more luxurious (looks not feels) , some modifications and it can actually looks a little like continental car (bmw, Mercedes) apart from the engine

For price under 100k, this car is good ah. Considering the power output, fuel consumption and safety features this car is perfect for long travel distance.

The build quality, fit and finish have vastly improved on this last batch of production. Except for the leather seats on the premium model that look really cheap and of a poor material.

Ask Proton. The lack of the features you mention is found on the Premium variant and is absent on the Executive variant to create some gap between the two variants.

Push start will add more cost to building a Preve. Preve is going to be discontinued for the consumer markets anytime soon due to low sales, so there is no point trying to upgrade the car with push start button.

Actually cvt is not bad as people think. It just need a refinement. Nearly every car manufacturer using cvt. Honda, Subaru, nissan and toyota itself is using cvt. Cvt is a future transmission.

@@c.t6149 problem is proton use cvt from punch company which is one of the worst manufacturer. Go compare punch CVT against aisin CVT. Its like langit dengan bumi.
