Hi, thank you for your videos. What do I do when all the fabrics are too short for a completely floor length circle skirt? I can't find a fabric that is long enough.

Hi. You're welcome. About your question, it all boils down to the width of the fabric. If the Radius plus the length is 5.5 + 45 inches for example, total length is 50.5. So you need fabric that has a width of at least 55 inches. As for how many yards, it would be 50.5 X 4 = 200.2. Plus maybe another 18inches for extra. That will be about 6 yards. Or 50.5 X 2 for a half circle skirt. So that is how you approximate. For a full circle skirt, the front and back would have to be cut separately as there is no way to fold into 4. You have to fold into 2 for each part. A half circle skirt only needs to be folded into 2. And of course you are folding along the width. Hope this helps.
