The most unbelievable part about all of this is how quickly the kpop scandals are resolved. How I would've "fixed" the show: - Kitty realised her crush on Yuri was just her bi awakening, she got over it when she saw her with Julianna and they're happy as friends - Kitty wants to pursue Minho but with Dae being her ex and his friend, Kitty decides it's best to just stay friends - Kitty plays matchmaker with Dae to set him up with Eunice so he will "approve" of her going for Minho - Minho latches on to Stella to get over Kitty which will continue their storyline so when Kitty finds out Stella is a fraud, Minho will just accuse her of being jealous - Get rid of the Jin being a bully storyline and just make him a competitive rival because dating your best friends' bully is horrific - Keep the family reunion story but make it a bigger plotline because that was actually nice

The thing that bugged me most was how they make a big deal at the start of the season how Kitty is going to focus on school and be serious, and then we literally never see them in class (except with Min Ho's dad) or studying, like ever the whole season. At least in season 1 it actually felt like they were in school.

Yes!! This was my biggest issue with S2. Kitty was on the brink of failing all her classes first semester and then second semester they never talked about school at all (music management class doesn't count). But then somehow at the end of the season she got her scholarship again for senior year?? So did she pull some miraculous turn and go from being a horrible student to an amazing one?? I can't imagine how since she was just meddling all season, when did she actually have time to study??

Two main issues: 1) Pacing. This season was shorter as it hard 8 episodes. However, each episode is 20min so it’s too short to have such a short season. Every plot line or romance felt rushed because they had to wrap up everything in a limited amount of time. Relationships started in less than 2 episodes, secrets were quickly found, and some problems were quickly resolved. I loved how the show had more drama, but because it was too short, there was no time to process or for plot lines to properly develop. 2) It seems like the actress who plays Jina couldn’t come back, which is tough because last season Jina was involved in pretty big storylines. She even had a big secret revealed at the end of season 1. So now the show was faced with the hard decision on how to move forward. They either have to keep telling us her actions with the characters off screen (which break the show not tell rules) or they just pretend like she doesn’t matter anymore, which also creates issues.

Also I only watch the show for minho and Q,kittys chemistry with q (friendship chemistry) and Minho (romantic chemistry) is the only good thing,the rest is all giggles and dumb comfort. I fr hated Yuri and Juliana’s writing this season,yuris was garbage. She NEEDED kitty and Juliana to exist the entire season and they did her dirty with kitty and juli situation. Minho was the laidback one but I felt terrible because he trusted Stella and because his dad was a jerk. But he was so chill and less problematic than the others,he was so normal for just wanting to be with Stella ignore everything else and forget kitty. Sorry I wrote so much I wanted to summarize the show for myself 😭

This show a good represebtation of what Netflix has become. This "tell don't show" format feels like it comes from adults who think gen-z doesn't have the attention span to watch anything. But the problem is Netflix not making good shows. A Good Girls Guide to Murder had this same issue. The charcters tell you what just happened, instead of showing the audience how the charcter solved the issue. Shows like Arcane and Heartstopper are popular because there written well and have good charcters, and they get praise for being good. Actually, I think Kitty only fell in ‘love’ with Min Ho. Dae may be in Love with her but Min Ho was right about Kitty’s true feelings for Dae. Then Kitty misunderstood her Friendship for ‘love’ bcz she was having a crush on Yuri. Having a crush doesn’t mean u are in love with the person. Praveena was just an escape hatch. Min Ho was the only person she fell in love for who he is.

You perfectly encapsulated why season 2 didn't work for me. I was getting bored while watching and felt empty afterwards. It felt like nothing happened and its because they never showed anything happen to us. The whole season was just the characters telling others about things that happened. And the unnaturally written awkwardly delivered dialogue made it even worse. And now we're right back to where we were at the end of season 1in the story.

The music to introduce Petef/Noah Centineo was amazing. When it started playing I was thinking why the hell is "I LIke Me Better" in this series since I associate it with TATB, then he appeared. I thoroughly enjoyed that moment, and I can't say that for most scenes in the show.

Yeah, no... if all flights are cancelled (usually due to weather conditions if they're all affected) then there's no chance in hell that a private jet is getting cleared for takeoff

I thought I understood that their flight just got cancelled for whatever reason not necessarily weather conditions, and that they couldn't get an alternate flight soon enough to fly and back, whereas Minho's dad's plane could have taken off that same night, gotten to the US the same day, then the day after get back to Korea (not very realistic but who knows how private jetting works)

This show is like this weird mush of western teen romance dramas and eastern k-dramas so filled with romance tropes and cliches. I love it :D I wish they had more or longer episodes to kind of go more in depth for some of the plotlines because that is the worst thing about the show as they have a lot of plots and stuff happening but because of the short format it gets to progress super quickly. For example Stella was so good by the end when she got the badass evil mastermind makeover but it was over in like one episode.
