Was definitely the primary reason why ANYONE clicked on that game Jokes aside, the song owner does have a good point originally, but the accusations about the effects the song had and what people could do with it are completely wrong and will probably gonna sink the case

To someone not familiar with the platform, I can see their logic and I would say it would be a legitimate concern as a copyright holder; since to some extent you can get monetized for the stuff you publish onto roblox and with the number of bypassed audios, clothing, and what-have-you that Roblox has had in the past, it is safe to say roblox moderators aren't checking thoroughly and would be, again, reasonable concern. However, I said "I would say it *would* be," not that it is in this case. To someone who IS familiar with the platform, yeah this lawsuit is definitely flimsier than a dollar store paper plate in the wind. They had decent grounds at first, but their reasoning as to WHY they wanted compensation is utter nonsense.

If I were to be honest, this lawsuit is reasonable, like I know It's public domain and it's made by Scott but you should remember, it's renditioned by Aaron Robinson and it's him who has the rights to file lawsuit against Roblox and Alex. He should've used the original version of Maple Leaf Rag or just make his own rendition so that this lawsuit won't even happen. I'm personally on the side of Aaron because after all, he created it and Alex uses it without consent. It's basically like someone taking your possessions without your permission.
