It's not really NewJeans inspired but the Y2K trend is very popular in Thailand for the past few months ~ fashion wise, song wise and much more (You'll see people doing the Y2K hand gesture with an upside peace sign and stick their tongues out lmao). The song is produced by one of the members of a relatively popular band in the early 2000s and they explained that they wanted the song to have an 80s-90s funky vibe mixed with modern and traditional Thai instruments to create a retro but still fresh sound. The outfits are also inspired from fashion around that time and I think 4EVE stylists always do pretty good. Even the Thai lyrics use some old slang and words that were popular at the time but I'm not familiar with at all lmao.

The concept of MV is Thai's fashioned during 80s to 90s not really Y2K but kinda same. If you watched Thai series about 80s to 90s era. You'll see this fashioned alot. And the instrumentals of this song is Thai Modern Traditional Instruments. Life Boy is famous slang word in Thailand during 80s to 90s means Worthless. This trends back to became a thing in Thailand again about a few months ago (Last year I think).
