This playlist was the soundtrack to the most adventurous, romantic, fun, funny, deep, effectual love I have ever known. We laughed, we traveled, we danced, we sang, we sat by the firelight, gazed at the stars, stood by the ocean...and this was often playing in the background in the last years. When we kissed in the rain you could hear this playing, when we cooked together, this was on in the background...we were one...like energy and synergy...for 5 years. Romance and adventure were alive every day. We never ever even once had a fight. Then that last few months things started to change. She started to change, and a darkness fell upon her heart...she got lost in her head, in the world, in a sea of confusion as the outside world began to convince her heart that she could have more...and then she was gone as quick as she came....and yet, every time I hear this, I choose to remember those remarkable 5yrs of which no love I have ever known comes even close. These days, I am solo adventuring, but I will never forget....there was a time when every song, every story, every piece fell into place. And for a time, we shared something truly magical. I am grateful today...some may never know it...but if you have then you know. I still love this playlist because it is not about her and I anymore...but the spirit behind it . LOVE. I remember the night perfectly. It started on june 7th 2020 (during lockdown) and I wanted to listen to some indie music and I remember playing this and instantly having this warm feeling. I went outside and watched the sunrise while listening to this and now that memory is locked into my mind. I feel so nostalgic when I hear this music.
