Don't you worry, fellow fall-lover. Autumn is coming once again, and I could not be happier. Dark and long nights, while outside there's no one except cold, and you are in your home, covered in heavy covers, with a slow steam coming out of a large cup full of tea, coffee or chocolate. Soft music playing in the background, jazz perhaps or even this same video, and you are reading a beutiful book or watching a wonderful movie, your heart warmer than it could have ever been in the hottest day of summer. Because, after all, the beauty of the cold is that you enjoy even more the heat. Peace, fellow fall-lover. Be well, stay safe.

Hahaha, how i needed this now!! Having a rough month at work and I so needed a good time out from the hustle and bustle, so i decided to take a nice walk in the evening here. It drizzled a little bit and the weather is a little chilly and amazing. I smiled, knowing its just work, and what I am doing now, listening to this compilation while taking a nice walk, while seeing the beauty in nature, now this is life. Work sucks, but songs are still songs and they still remove my depression and sadness, so yes!! Thanks Alex for this amazing compilation!!

@@fifiearthwanderer work is bad. Trust me. I hate it to the max. Superiors telling you what to do and your subordinates don't follow your instructions. It doesn't help when the company knows you are disabled and forces you to walk 1000 steps to your office from your car park, there is not even one handicapped parking lot near to the office for people with disabilities. Their pay is the worst kind compared to other companies. Trust me, if wasn't for Alex and few notable others, I would have taken my own life.

You work for money. The company you work for is important because they pay you. The dudes who make work annoying are NOT important, they just think they are. When you go to work in an uncomfortable environment, mentally zip yourself into a HAZMAT suit. This will allow you to maintain necessary contact but it'll keep the poisonous shit off and create a nice secure and enclosed environment in which you can safely and securely perform the duties you know are necessary to complete your tasks, earn your company money and render them able to pay you.

I feel someone may need to hear this: I hated talking to and in front of people. I was called to be a pastor, mentor, and public speaker. Sometimes calling is on the other side of fear. Now if you’re afraid of bears that’s probably common sense lol 😂 but maybe you’re afraid to sing in front of people but have a beautiful voice. Maybe you’re afraid of speaking like I was but you have a story only YOU can tell. Fear and failure are stepping stones. Sometimes we trip going up the steps but that doesn’t mean we stop going up the steps and just quit, does it? We usually catch ourselves, curse the step like it’s the steps fault, then keep going. Also we don’t get held up over that step and for a week get mad thinking about the step. You all are great and here for a reason! Keep going!

This comment really strikes a chord with me. Nostalgic, and kind of melancholic. I'm at the strange pivotal point between childhood and adulthood, but I already miss the time when everything had a tinge of exciting mystery to it, and there was no greater joy than walking the dog through country parks, baking with my Mum, playing make-believe with my cousins, or digging into a stack of new books. I look back fondly on my school days, when I'd run outside into the rain before the bell for wet break could ring, not caring that my socks would be soaked, or that my wool blazer would reek of wet sheep for the rest of the day, only thinking of bending the rules and having fun with my friends. At the time, I was desperate to grow up, and to shed what I thought were childish habits, like crying when I was upset, or looking to my parents for comfort. Now I struggle to be emotionally vulnerable, even around those closest to me. The fun I used to have, and the friendships I maintained, are more or less confined to the past now, but I'm making an effort to draw on that childlike sense of wonderment, and enjoyment of simple pleasures, because bloody hell, I need something to keep me sane in the noise of today's world. Wow, I've really gone on a bit of a venting spree! I'm only 18, but I already feel as though I lost my last few years of childhood to anxiety and depression, and mostly for succumbing to the pressure of my teachers, and fretting over my future to the point where nothing else mattered. If anyone reading this is still at school, please take the time to recognise your freedoms, your friends and family, and everything you love most. These should help to shape your future, not force you headlong into it. Take things at your own pace, think things through, and you'll be just fine. (Wish more people had told ME that when I needed to hear it.)
@georgeziak44835 жыл бұрын
I remember these times of excitement when you discovered something new. But this excitement should go away later in life? I believe no, by being in more new situations and living more new experiences we can feel more like that, we dont have to desensitize ourselves.

Why is Autumn so nostalgic?
@audemariie5 жыл бұрын
The end of the year is getting closer, while in Christmas the days are more festive full of joy because we're gonna see all of the family. We're thinking of what we did during this big part of the year, and remember all of the memories that were build during this year. The leaves are falling and will going to dust, as this year but we will remember all these moment of pure joy, pure sadness. Autumn is beautiful for that, we're thinking about what we did in our lives and what we can do better.
@kierovnick4 жыл бұрын
@@audemariie Or... the days are getting colder, our metablism changes going slightly towards slowing rates of bodily funcions to minimise the energy consumption. And for most of our evolutionary past, just to make it easier, we were directed rather towards recollecting the past events than any other activity. Notice, that nostalgia is mostly memories, so it costs less energy than almost any other activity, including even all the brainly activities. In this time period we tend to look back and recall what have we done to make sure we survive the harsh winter ahead, so we think and wait for the future to come. The music helps to keep mind steady, but the music itself is not as important as the underlying rythm, and BPM in those songs is close to average heart rate of a human at rest. If the rythm of the music is additionally paced by low frequency sound like a slow and steady drum, it adds a feeling of someones heart nearby additionally deepening the calm mood and steadiness. Yeah... i'm such a romantic type...

This playlist is my escape from reality.. never look at me whenever I am listening to this. You'll see how crazy I am when I sway my body to the tune and then smiling wide.

Indie, Country, Folk, and Alternative genres be hitting different huh. We love these genres because it conveys way deeper meaning and a great story-telling scheme

Without You is my favourite! But honestly you've nailed it! Usually with these playlist I like alot of the songs, but I would only purchase two or three, but on this playlist I honestly think I would buy them all! (If I had money that is XD)
