What a wonderful day! I spent the morning lying on the grass in front of my house, under the enormous plantain tree which covers the home and the entire shade. I love this country, and I love to live because I have my roots, these profound and delicate roots which attach a man to the land where were born and died his ancestors, which attach to that we think and what we eat, to the customs as to foods, local expressions, intonations of farmers, soil smells, villages and the air itself!........................

I hugely admire Fred for ploughing his own furrow, but every bedroom guitarist trying out their effects usually ends up making these sort of noises in their bedrooms. I'd be drummed out of my local music venue if I tried this. Still each to their own and if he's making a living out of it, fair play to him.
@longliverocknroll82618 жыл бұрын
yeah I read about him in guitar book and I heard one of his songs that was cool playing but all this putting comb snd stuff on the guitar not digging that so much would b like good horror movie music tho

making one of the sfx is easy but to manipulate all of them and string them together masterfully for an hour while still keeping it interesting is what makes him a genius
@movimentodoscacos4 ай бұрын
Making the sounds is way different and easier than actually stringing them together compositionally. He's very musical and each part of the improv segues into the next masterfully. And local music venues that would drum out Fred Frith suck anyways
