Hey Alex, great seeing another video I'm trying to enjoy a much needed 34 and thank God for sunny weather! Since I have a general manager, I was in Wells Maine the other day. I'm so happy to be doing the job I was trained and hired for. I have a New Customer in Plaistow New Hampshire; I went off route to visit my mom's grave with flowers. She passed last June from cancer. My advice to people is treasure the ones you love while you still have them. then 10 months later my uncle. My uncle said wit and humor are your traits Alex, he was so right! I love being a trucker!

He has no brain, so there’s that. How he gets 500 miles SOLO from Walcott to Omaha hurts my brain… Drivers out there today are in a new class by themselves. Things have really changed in 25 years. WTF is a 30 minute break and reset crap. This new breed could’ve never done what was done back in the day. No doubt their feelings would get hurt. Bigly

After Watching your videos for a few months I decided to go get my CDL. Now I'm out here on the road after months more of training doing it to. It's been a big change but I feel it's going to make life a lot better financially. Wishing I had done this at your age! Lol

How's it going for you I'm planning on getting my cdl but I keep hearing people complaining about how horrible it is
@ryanshuff610 Жыл бұрын
@dreamreaper428 it's got ups and downs, company I work for has a 2 month training process, just now getting paid for the miles I drive, looking into going to the contractor division. Unlike most companies that have contractors they help you with the truck and set up a bunch of things like a maintenance account to ensure you succeed, of course that all depends on how you drive your truck. I'm enjoying it so far though. I've seen all but 6 states, just in the training period. It's definitely a life adjustment being away from home.

How long do the batteries last on the electric APU when it’s 90+? I’m guessing not long and you’ll end up idling. I’m nervous about those over the traditional ThermalKings.

What’s your opinion on Yellow Freight bro ? Im sure you heard the closed down
@stevec8861 Жыл бұрын
Like the transparency showing your mistakes and keeping it real. But I'm not in the trade and am a bit confused in this case. Given all the stuff that can go wrong getting to receiver on time, wouldn't it make sense to hustle and get load to point B early, with a plan b of waiting nearby in event receiver won't take load early? Then if sometime did go wrong on route, GP Transco would have time to make other arrangements to get load delivered on time.
@DJMistaXclusive Жыл бұрын
lol man he would never run his clocks out during the day.. every video that ive seen, he shuts down at 3pm which plenty of time left to get closer to the shipper or receiver, but he chooses to do the backwards way and run more miles in the morning to get there.. Im almost sure that his company came to him about his time management or about too.. he should drive local or regional with this "schedule" that he runs
@stevec8861 Жыл бұрын
@@DJMistaXclusive I've seen enough of his videos to understand why he shuts down ~3pm. He likes to park defensively and there's plenty of parking options at that time. As far as running out clock, there's other otr youtubers that seem to only run recaps (so nowhere close to running out daily clock) , yet they seem to push to get to receiver early. Hence my question about Alex's "mistake".

Idk why you want to stress yourself out and not call the receiver for exact directions. Unless it’s a pride thing, I would use truckerspath to avoid unknown traffic routes. Never have been steered wrong. I’m a trucker as well and understand the whole “I want to figure it out on my own” mentality, but I’m telling you this will save so many headaches.

Hi there Alex. How are you have not watched you for a while what has chngdr in the American scene of trucking. I did notice one thing is that yo have a licking for Bens Rice with different flavours. It is a great dish and sometimes i even have one as a snack. Yes Mate i was so surprised to see you eating this product as it is very populare her in Aus as well. Know you have a day of and way to early but you are dammed if you dont and you kow the rest. Hope you find a fishing spot maybe search google when you have down time and keep a record as on route at times it is good to just wet a line and switch. of. Any how Alex you take care and keep trucking and seemsv like the Cascadia is still sering you well even though a little underpowerd at times. Enjoy your day, Aussie Bob.
