First time we've seen Scotty get some since "Who Mourns for Adonais?". And he got zapped again. At least he knows she saw fireworks. I'm glad that the very green Lt. Romaine didn't end up a total vegetable.

So they dropped off Mira by herself on Memory Alpha which is in the hind end of space. I assume that McCoy took care of the corpses and it wasn't something Mira had to deal with. What a creepy first assignment. I bet she sleeps with one eye opened.

McCoy tells Myrna, "Lt. you're being completely uncooperative!" But you are the best, you straight out ask, "Why is she being so bitchy?" LOL 😂😅😂😅😅

Just once and only for The Lights of Zetar, I wish Shatner could have taken a back seat and allowed Richard Pryor to guest star as Captain Kirk. The scene where the woman on the floor is croaking and changing colours could have been greatly improved with this dialogue from Pryor: ''Girl, what you croakin' at?! Some devilish croakin' at that! Get off da floor and wash yo ass, b*tch! G' downstairs and help yo' Mama straighten out da front room -- weez is havin' company!''

Not my favorite episode but not too bad. I do not remember this one as much as some others. I think the next one is much better if it is the Cloud Minders. But a good episode. Scotty never has a good time with the ladies. This one and A Wolf in the Fold episode. Maybe he should just stick to the enterprise.

1. This was a middle of the road episode for me. 2. It seems to me than when my drinking buddy Scotty falls in love/lust he goes all the way. Example, "Who mourns for Adonias". 3. Space sickness. Really🙄 4. First voyage and far too defensive.
