All your points are spot on. I would also recommend understanding the NEEDS of your clothes. What do you spend most of your time doing? Working (business or casual attire)? Leisure? Activities? Sometimes we buy items that we only need 5% of the time versus spending money on the clothes we wear the majority of the time.

Definitely 🫶🏻 I get so many comments from people telling me to ‘buy more colour’ and I’m like why? I don’t NEED colour, I love and wear neutrals because they suit me and my needs! Everyone should make their wardrobe work for them

Thanks! Spot on! ❤ And yeah, every time I hear a friend say “I save this for a special occasion”, I get goose bumps… 😂 The fact that we are alive and healthy TODAY is a special-occasion-enough. I stopped saving things for that never coming event or a party, or whatever. I wear my special pieces even to work in the office. All of our days are counted, so I try to bring some extra joy as my outfit is one of the few things I can control. We never now what the day (or life) holds for us ahead. So, let’s make the most of what we already have. Rock that new dress for an important job interview or that edgy jewelry at a parent’s meeting at school. You’ll definitely make an impression. Holy smokes these are such good tips! It took me so long to realize that while I am tall, 5’8”, I have short legs and a long torso. I never considered that I would have such short legs at this height until I was in my 30s. I know that sounds silly but 🤷🏼‍♀️. Figuring that out truly changed the way I dressed and helped me figure out why certain styles don’t work for me personally.

If you are figuring out your style don't get rid of your old stuff put them away if you have space for them because everyone goes through phases with clothes and you could regret getting rid of those things fashion and trends always come back around and yes a classic wardrobe never truly goes out of style but the odd trend piece to wear alongside some of the more classic pieces can make some really good outfits you will end up buying the same items all over again if it's in good condition just put it away for a while ❤

Love these tips! Would also love an equestrian style type of video, because I struggle feeling put together and comfortable while riding or being at the yard. Have my regular style on point, but not my equestrian style.
