Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio (510hp) - pure SOUND (60FPS)

Today I can present to YOU a pure exhaust SOUND drive with the all-new 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (former QV) powered by a 2.9 liter Twin-Turbo V6 delivering a whopping 510 hp and 600 Nm of torque. The special thing about this particular car is the manual transmission which maybe isn't for beginners but gives the car an emotional character BMWs M3 and Mercedes-AMGs C63s don't have. More it sounds so unbelievable that (if you are in Race mode) you can hear it from 1 mile away!!! Specifically, once the valves are opening there is no doubt that this engine and exhaust system was developed by former Ferrari guys (which I met by the way) and then they truly know what they were doing....It's hard to say this, but I think this is the best car I've driven so far, cause its so much better than I expected! It's the headers. Alfa has always made amazing sounding v6s. Check out the Busso from the GTV6. Imo it sounds even better than this.

jr nascimento this is the difference between italian and german cars. Sound REALLY MATTERS for italians. Its always part of the experience. The best comparison is to listen to this turbo engine and compare it with 911 (991) turbo engine. Sound is not even close

That's like comparing what music sounds the best, both car manufacturers have their own sound characteristics. I'd be disappointed if all cars sounded the same.

blacksea there is no point comparing a natural aspirated engine to a bi turbo engine. In this case you see the different approach the Italians have in sound vs the Germans. 9 out 10 times Italian car do sound better. The gt3 (especially the latest version 991.2) sounds incredible but it can't be compared to this engine for the reasons mentioned above.

I like much cars from all over the world... but nothing can beat the Sound from a Porsche 911 Turbo or the AMG Sound... They did a great job for a stock exhaust if you compare (and I mean not in video, because the sound is much different as in real life). In real life this Alfa do not sound that good as you thought.... (belive me, i speak from experience...)

5. 0 i ve test driven one (Alfa qv) and i know exactly how it sounds. For my ears this is one of the best sounding turbo engines. Porsche have until recently used naturally aspirated engines - of course they sound great! My original comment was about the way the Italians make the cars sound compare to equivalent german cars. Much more theatrical when you compare similar engines. Thats just my opinion. :) PS the sound of the new gt3 is absolutely amazing but what about the new turbo engine in the cayman or even the 911 991.2? In my opinion no where close to the sound of this Alfa (and i have also driven those)
