Hi sir, meron kami problema sa aming fw generator same type sa video. The problem is there is vacuum in the feedwater line . The chemical dosage tank get empty very quick due to this vacuum. Do you have any experience about this. Thanks!

I was working on the same fwg , same problem + low productivity , max 14 m3 for several days then production goes lower till 5-6 m3 per day .

If the production become low try to open and clean.Most probably it has scale inside

Chief we are facing a problem in same type of fwg. Kindly please guide us regarding the same Recently we did CIP to this fwg and after that as soon as we open the jacket water inlet open by one turn we can see the sight glass is filled up by sea water. We don't have any issue on the vaccum.pls help us regarding this.

So we opened and cleaned manually still same. Checked Eductor and feed valve also

Check the suction line of the Eductor if it is clogged by scale.Or did you renew rubber?

@@chiefelrich6663 chief with inspected the Eductor it looks new.. And we didn't renew the rubber... As it looks new because it's a 2yr old ship

@@sskmarine what i mean is you have to check the passage suction of eductor inside the plates if there is clogged. Pls watch the video sir there is a passage of eductor suction if this line is clogged that problem will occur.

As far as the problem states, CIP individually wouldn't serve the purpose, hence a complete dismantling of the plate pack is advised here, once the plate pack is cleaned and gasketed as per its standard, it needs to be snug tight to avoid any pressure leakages, be reminded, the gaskets need to be intact and as per order, in order for the unit to work without any adversities. Next, since you're already dis-assembling the complete unit, check the suction and ejector pipes, inlet and outlets as well on the unit, free them from all the residual sludge and re-install the same after thorough cleaning. I think, that will solve all the problems, however, given the fact, the gaskets need to be intact of all the entry and exit points.

I have a query sir after assembling plates after overhauling found vacuum was good , when I open the jacket water inlet suddenly my vacuum drops , So I tried to open inlet temperature gauge found it sucks air , Suggestion plz
