Top marks for involving your boys, I have many happy memories of working with my father from a very young age. I learnt so much about not only repairing, but also the all important diagnosis processes. David in the U.K.

Thank you. I try and get them involved whenever I can. Just have to make sure I'm keeping them safe which gets tricky on the more involved jobs. It always amazes me how much they remember. Cheers

Just watched this one again as you haven't posted anything lately and it has made me smile even more the second time. I hope the Alfa hasn't died a tragic death in doing the cambelt. David in the U.K.

Great to see your sons involved and picking up the passion! My dad had an Alfa Giulia Berlina when I was a nipper and it was the first car I remember, working on with my old man. It started a lifelong passion for cars, espacially Italian ones and above all else, Alfas!!!

Plenty of great motoring memories from my Dad. Not so much on the wrenching, but he always had an interesting car on hand. Awesome to have the boys keen to help me out 😁

In addition to enjoying the car info, I loved seeing the two boys. Especially when you were explaining to the kid how to find a socket extension the right size. Hope you have more videos with the two young men.

Those boys had me laughing. First the squirming, then the fit, then the water, then the tools. I was laughing out loud.

Whe you do the timing belt don't bother replacing the balance belt, leave it off 8hp for nothing and it revs better....
@Badgertronix3 жыл бұрын
I had seen mentions of doing that. I'll have to check it out. Thanks

They will both grow up knowing how it's done.

Hopefully there are still cars around to tinker with when they grow up

If the Temp gauge isn't pointing straight up and pointing at 90 the thermostat is knackered, very common on Twin Sparks , they run badly and drink petrol if not up to temperature...?
@Badgertronix3 жыл бұрын
The temp gauge is working fine and no signs of a thermostat problem. Definitely more output from the heater after a good clean out. Cheers

Coolant on my 156 keeps going down but no leaks (did a pressure test). Any ideas on where i can check? My guesses are its leaking internally somewhere.
