As someone who owned a ‘69 S1 1750 GTV for 12 years and loved that car, let me correct you on a couple of minor errors. Firstly, the wheels on the car you were testing are Alfaholics GTA replica alloy wheels, not steel. As standard, the wheels on the 105 series alfas were steel, with hubcaps and different in design to the GTA replica alloys. A alloy wheel, turbina finned wheel was available with the last series on the 2L cars. Another error is your reference to the GTA, they were came in the stepnose body shape and with either a 1300 or alternatively a 1600 twin plug head, not with a 2L. There was also the GTAM which was a highly modified 1750.

He also said it had a 4 speed box! This seems to be a rather rushed sales pitch of a video and Tony ought to know better as he's actually raced these cars in the past

These wonderful cars look really cheap and chavvy with the bumpers removed. I really don't understand why anyone would do that, it totally diminishes the beauty of the design. The steel wheels really should have hubcaps too. It's not a banger racing MOT failure Ford Escort FFS.

Those are alfaholics alloy wheels not the original pressed steel wheels 😎
