I have to say this is about the only good review I could find on the Alfa Romeo GTV! You guys should be proud of yourself, you did a really good job! I am considering buying an alfa romeo gtv v6 but unfortunately right now I don't have the money yet. I first wanted a Mazda RX-8 which is still my dream car but it would be hard for me to keep it with the high running costs and it not being fuel efficient at all, especially since whatever I buy will be my first car.

@@flanners41 yeah I kind of reconsidered because the V6 GTV's have shot up in value to the point where I can't afford that either, so now I am looking at either a volvo C70 or a Honda Prelude.

Wow! I tought the 3.0 6m was faster than 3.0 5m in recovery. Wich one do you prefer personally?

Jack the difference is very small so I like them both. I really like the red interior of the 5M. When it comes to shifting however, I think I prefer the way that the gear lever of the 6M goes through the gears. But other than that, there is not a whole lot of difference.

Are those both 3.0 v6 24v? Why you dont mention that? Whats the point if you don't mention specs?

VirtualViolence I agree...not sure the point of a 160hp 2.5 GTV6 drag racing against modern 220hp -240hp 3.0 V6🤷🏻‍♂️

What engine it's the dark grey GTV?

It‘s the same 3.0 v6 engine as the silver one, but it has a 5-speed transmission instead of 6-Speed. What we don‘t know, is if wether both habe the 218 or 220 hp version or one with 218 and the other one with 220.. but it shouldn‘t make any difference i think.

@@snakeeater9078 is it possible that the 6 speed one has the euro3 engine with 3 cats? Catalytic converters in each manifold and one at the downpipe connector. That would slow it down a bit.

Silver one is 218hp and grey one is 220hp

I like the idea but as a long time Alfa owner the electronic cars which started in 1981 are becoming much more difficult to maintain because electronic parts are no longer being produced. The gasoline powered car ban will gradually eliminate all gas powered vehicles.

I think it’s about double if they’re in the same condition. But a very good 916 3.0 can be almost the same value as a mediocre GTV6. However a GTV6 in mint condition can be worth 4 times a 916 3.0 in mediocre condition.
