Looks like my 81. I added the Velocissima style spoiler like this one (from Shankle ) to my 84 I had years ago. Sounds much better than my friends 308 and another friends Fiat Dino coupe.

+1981AlfaGTV6 I cut down the bumper mounting shocks and redrilled the hole for the mounting bolts. The body shop cut down the mountings where the bumpers wrap around the side of the body to pull the end caps closer to the body. The ugly plastic covers that fill the gaps between the bumpers and body were binned. The car was shortened by 5 inches and looks so much better for it. Thanks for the response. I use a Sony HDR-CX-190, but it has no external mic. So camera position is crucial for good audio, and limited to areas of no wind noise. I just tried out a Canon HF V600 with external mic and I had to return it. The gain is too high no matter where I put the mic - even inside the GTV6's cabin with a muff on the mic I get distortion. Plus I discovered the Canon's anti-shake function is totally inadequate for a car drive.... Oh well, I'll call back on the Sony and add a handheld digital audio recorder with lavaliere mic to capture the audio track stitch the two together. Cheers!

1981AlfaGTV6 Nice! I am rebuilding an 83 GTV6 and I have decided to keep the original 2.5 Engine and do some mild tuning instead of switching to a 3.0 like many GTV6 owners do. S cams are nice, give more mid and top end power.

El que tuvo mi papá, no tenía silenciadores (él pidió que se los quitaran cuando cambiaron la tubería de escape), tenía dos tubos de escape, uno a cada lado, también reemplazó el filtro de aire por un K&N (se eliminó la caja de aire) y se modificó para poderlo montar. Según tengo entendido Alfa Romeo solucionó el problema de la 2da velocidad en 1986. Otros reemplazaban la caja de cambios por una de Porsche (944 o 968)

Este coche tiene un silenciador trasero Ansa y no hay silenciador central. El '86 cambió el engranaje y algunas personas pusieron en el Milano verdo / caja de engranajes del platino pero probablemente tendremos el original reconstruido eventualmente. Este coche es bastante ruidoso sin el gato, pero no tengo video con eso.
