The GTV Spider has been one of my dream car... Dream that came true, in fact when I graduated this summer I got one as my first car and she is my daily today!!

@@ioannesg.5854 Well. I never had serious structural or mechanical problems that left me on foot, that's because I keep doing services and renewing parts that tend to be consumed with usage. Minore issues I had are: The hydraulic pump under clutch pedal that at 110.000 km started getting stuck. The thermostatic valve that opens to send water in the radiator and cool down the motore at -5 degrees got stuck opened and the motor was too cold and changed it the day after. The cam shafts cover gasket that exude little motor oil that goes in spark plug fixing position, I changed that at 158.000km. the Camshaft Pahse Variator that tends to be noisy at start (makes a diesel like noise at start) then it goes away, I changed that too with an updated one, now it starts with a beautiful sound. The oil caps in the motor that start to leak oil after 100.000 km, there are 2 of them, one is behind the flywheel over the motor output shaft, the second is in a higher position beneath the thermostatic valve, I changed both of them and put alluminium taps fixed with mastic so that to never agian have oil leaks from them. I guess the rest is ordinary servicing.

Just bought a black 916 and i loving it but the yellow is really the holy grail for me. But so hard to find now adays for a good price in a nice condition.
