In the 1960's and early 1970's we had a local hangout in my town known as Eat n Park. Just like happy days except the girls did not have roller skates. But they did come out to your car, take your order and bring your food to you. Every evening my brother and I would go to this place because he owned a 1969 Chevelle 396. Muscle cars would cruise through, some would stop and back into their parking space and wait for someone to challenge them to a race. When that happened, most people would follow to a long straight piece of road to race. But after a few years the police started to stake out this road and it was on to a new location for the next race. Wonderful times.

Dammit yes! My exact memory.. ground shaking!! Fred Castronova of "Custom Body Enterprises" Funny Car fame had a 66 Coronet( black on black with dog dish hubcaps) with a full house Keith Black hemi under the hood. His shop was by my house and you never got tired of hearing that car coming.
