This Alfasud Sprint in this video is most probably a veloce witch has a shorter first and fifth gear compared to the rest of the Alfasud and Alfasud Sprint range. This gearing was selected for better performance by Alfa, to be really correct the top speed is 190.

The standard Sprint Veloce was a 1.5 twin Weber; the Sprint 1.3 only had 1 carb and often a err. 'stylish' tartan interior. I remember the big bolt underneath the accelerator to stop you going too fast.

that's not the top speed!! when i was a kid my dad owned a sprint veloce 1.3, the one with 2 double body carbs and the disc brakes near the gearbox, and one time the neddle pas the 200 and went near the 20 again.. i loved that car.. i love all alfa's from taht time, and your's sounds AWSOME congrts
