Wasn’t he in another show called In the House with LL Cool J? Also he should have went back to Broadway & theater cause he would have strived better.

Don't blame it on "Carlton"...other people played their roles very well also and they moved on..one time he blamed the black community for non support because of who he married. Bye Carlton..🤭 oops, I meant Alfonso...🤣

He’s still making good money being a game show host. He should be grateful for that because he could be working at Trader Joe’s with “Elvin”.

Recreate yourself, this is a problem for many actors. Archie Bunker, Al Bundy, Peg Bundy etc

After "All in the Family" Carroll O'Connor played very different Chief Gillespie on "In The Heat of the Night" for a long time. Chief Gillespie married a black woman on that show.

He played a Dr. On In The House which starred LL Cool J

Gary Colman, Neil Carter, J.J Walker, ugh, so many actors have been typed cast. Tyler Perry didn't revive the Cosby show actor because no one that actor still.

Christopher B. Duncan (Braxton from the Jamie Foxx Show), who's such an incredible, versatile actor, has talked about having this same issue. It's a shame. In any case, I wonder what type of roles Alphonso would be interested in? On another note, calling an actor by the name of a character they played, and asking them to "do the thing" is so damned tacky. 👎🏿

And I don’t blame him for saying that about Tyler Perry. He probably knows some things that we don’t.

Alfonso has his white validation and that’s working out well for him. So he should stay over there and do his hosting gigs, he’s eating well off them.

It seems like many actors and actresses from sitcoms and soap operas get typecast.

Will Smith was the goofy cousin on Fresh Prince but he wasn't type cast. Look at all the serious roles Will has had.

They lied to him. He is awesome and I’m glad he knows it.

I have an idea. They should all come together for a movie - like a dramedy.

Jasmine Guy who played Whitley Gilbert on that college show, she said that also that it was hard to find work after a different world!

He just needs to do a role like Blair Underwood in *"Just Cause"* and we'll never see Carlton in him again.

I don't think he's concerned about Tyler Perry being a bully. Alfonso is highly talented and he's not interested in affiliating in mediocre work. Y'all are taking it further than it needs to be. Alfonso is an acclaimed actor and highly talented. The End. TP can't do a thing for him. Period.

Right …. Those Tyler perry films are not on his level
@troystewart29095 ай бұрын
He probably CAN NOT get other roles because he can not act. He didn't really act as the character Carlton. He just recited lines as himself. When you know how to act, you can make people at an audition say "Carlton Who ".

I think since he feels the bc aka bw are not supporting his "career", he should go ask the wc aka wp aka ww to help him out. That is who he wants to be with and who he values. He should ask without hesitation or it being problem.

He ruined his own career. Will's character was even better than his and he has done every single character since. He is just looking to blame someone.

Why would someone who has grownup in hollywood need someone else to rejump his career? I think their problem is they feel more entitled than the rest.

Alfonso didn't need to comment on Tyler. He appears good.
