Such a beautiful song. Thanks to Ted Levine for bringing so much attention to it. His performance in The Silence of The Lambs was deserving of an Oscar, at least in my humble opinion. The meaning behind this song is what makes it so beautiful and it really is quite fitting for the Francis Dolarhyde (Manhunter/Red Dragon) and Buffalo Bill characters. I never tire of hearing it. 🌹

The horses are a reference to the Bhagavad Gita (Hindu scriptures). There are five horses which symbolize the five senses. The singer is flying over the horses, that is she is rising above the simply material and entering the spiritual world. She argues against the premise that "all things pass into the night" which is symbolic of a type of nihilism and the materialism of the secular world.

It's creating a loop, ending like it began just as if they knew we would push on the repeat button. Sometimes I'd swear they were possessed while writing and performing it.

I could only find one other song Q Lazzarus made and from all accounts she had a very secretive existence But this is her best song from what I’ve heard and it’s addictive just keep playing it ❤

Hey, you don't know what pain is!!!!
@PatrickPierceBateman9 жыл бұрын
Lastof Mykind My pain is constant and sharp, and I do not hope for a better world for anyone. In fact, I want my pain to be inflicted on others. I want no one to escape. But even after admitting this, there is no catharsis; my punishment continues to elude me, and I gain no deeper knowledge of myself. No new knowledge can be extracted from my telling. So yes, I know what pain is.

@ruthlessuniverse93599 жыл бұрын
+Patrick Bateman don't lie to yourself Bateman, you don't know shit about pain! You are just a damn sociopath, who think that he is better than everyone and deserve better than everybody! But the fact is that you are just a squeamish man, greedy for money and high status who want everything to be perfect in his life, and who will do anything for it! But you're only a mere mortal, like the rest of us, and in the end you will die the same way we all will. All that matters is what we will be remembered for!!!

It's funny how a mate sent me a wattsapp video and this was the soundtrack...to do with generation x....anyway...instantly I was like "oooh noooo....the BUFFALLOO BILL MUSIC"......in my head at the moment, tainted for sure....but....pretty much, miraculously...I deeply appreciated the beauty of it without the horror promoting it. Absolutely beautiful, deeply haunting....beautiful synths to rival any new wave and deep lyrics....all matches made in heaven....GENIUS!
