1989, it sure wasn't shy about it. A crow that resembled Hitler, his Crow party, comparable to the NSDAP. It was a different time! And it was a hidden gem, behind the likes of Transformers, thundercats, turtles, he-man, etc... WE HAD IT SO GOOD, in the 80s! it's a shame, sometimes it takes 20+years, nostalgia and the internet, to remind us of what we had and what we'll probably NEVER see again.

For some reason this theme reminds me of old dos/windows 95 game one must fall 2097 menu music. Off course thay is overshadowed by the nostalgic memories of Alfred j Kwak. Just imagine if cartoons of today had same amounts of balls to have such a direct connection with such matters as Hitler's rise to power in ww2 or race oppression in South Africa. What a great show.
@DerClouder2 жыл бұрын
This show was funded by the UN for the purpose of teaching children about delicate subjects like faschism, war, natural disasters, and racism in an age-appropriate and healthy manner. It taught kids that apartheid is wrong, environment needs to be protected, and that death and loss is just a part of life, among other things. Very deep and heavy subjects which are hard for anyone to understand, let alone teach to a kid, and yet this show succeeded in it perfectly.
@Jurtaani2 жыл бұрын
@@DerClouder another great show for kids from the past was "Il était une fois… la Vie" or "Once Upon a Time... Life" that put things in human body. like how viruses and other similar things work in human body. into nice kid friendly package. they sure knew how to do stuff that is remembered fondly in the future, back in the 80's.
