1. Start with all govt owned and GLC building first. 2. Make it compulsory for all newly built factory and warehouse to install solar panel before CCC approved. 3. Give subsidies or tax rebate to existing warehouse or factory to fully install.

Just to clarify, the 70% of solar energy is referring to installed capacity of energy consumed should be from RE source? There is huge differences between both. 70% installed capacity may only contribute to ~15% of energy generation. the energy transition roadmap if not mistaken is only referring to installed capacity
2022年是47000兆瓦,which is 47 gigawatts. Approximately 每年的用电需求增长1.5-2%。

太阳能板 是买的 还是 自己造的? 后期维护 会不会又成了一个 袋袋平安的 project ??

there are many solar panel all over Singapore. The gov has already started this renewable energy roadmap some years ago, The 1st Youth Olympic min Singapore started with using hydrogen as alternate source of energy. Then it shifted the focus to electric vehicle, etc.... with a target of eventually going green and phrasing out fossil fuel transportation. Now it has move even further into sustainability. I live in the east of SG, there are already many HDB flat rooftop installed with solar panels providing energy source. Even some data collection points are mounted with solar panel to provide feedback to the department involved. SG has the so called largest solar farm in the world having solar panels floating on a reservoir. I also heard that some other countries are doing what SG is doing.

May I know where those installed at the HDB use the electricity use? Just the common area lighting ?
Here in Sabah, One of the supermarket boss was discouraged NOT install solar system in his supermarket, reason being Sabah SESB said his supermarket are required to use their allocated power supply quota by SESB OTHERWISE his supermarket will be penalize for his low usage. The funny parts SESB always had power supply disruptions and which caused many of his frozen food spoiled but SESB buat bodoh...

I believe let Peninsula go 1st, SESB will need to follow

already more than 40 years the problem still there, sigh, I know a lot of palm oil mill they use their own generator, SESB was part of TNB but TNB still cannot improve much

14:58 google一下solar peak sun hour map看看那你就知道其实马来西亚的地理位置对太阳能发电来说不是理想的位置。。。

Nuclear power is still the most economic for power generation which is lower cost, consistency of supply compare to coal, gas, hydro, solar & etc.@@AugustineCheng

砖家说,制造 production of products and raw mat , 比起 natural energy 不环保。这些只是个制造经济体的吹说罢了。 请问是这样吗?
We spend ten of thousand to install rooftop solar panel to generate electric. This generated electric should be kept in our own battery, spend it first and balance sell to TNB. But sad to said the generated electric got to sell and keep by TNB first then only sell back to us and let us use it.. The saving is not great and solar panel lifespan is around 10years only.. Worth it?

U mentioned a good point, next stage power storage will be a big investment theme
