in my band i play flute so i didn't care about... (idk how the guy that stands before the orchestra is called in english) yeah that guy, i just went with my own speed and everyone found it ok... eventually we paused to get the tempo lower XD

I’m in grade 7, and we are playing this at our final concert of the year. I am a clarinet 1 so I would have around 23 measures of rest. But my band director told the 1st clarinets to also play some of the 1st trumpet part. So I had to say bye, bye to my rests.

-When I was the only alto sax in middle school at the end of the year, my band teacher gave me some flute parts to play, because there was a lot of trumpets and I was supposed to lead the flutes...I still remember how traumatized I was for being the only sax and the sax group left 1 by 1 each grade...ugh the chills -I know it's not related but I don't want people being discouraged when playing an instrument and just take it as a challenge and put effort in it.
