Rampage!
By Todd Stalter
Item: 00-31709
Series: Young Symphonic
Format: Conductor Score & Parts
Grade: 3
Rampage! is a relentless, aggressive work that requires wind players and percussionists alike to play with both a great deal of force and finesse. Strong statements in the brass, the interwoven woodwind parts, and a contrasting introspective section provide numerous opportunities for expression and nuance. Ranges are comfortable, allowing players to concentrate on the technique and articulations that will make this piece virtually leap off of the page. This title is available in SmartMusic.

In the middle, if your an oboe, I would add a little vibrato in there. And heres another tip. STONG AIR, not to soft, not to hard. If it’s to hard, it sounds like a goose. Too soft, it gets Shaky. Now, accent on the BUMMM BUMM BUMMM crescendo part. Legato. Light tonguing. This song is practice for the much bigger ones you’ll face. Accents, air, and working on vibrato. For woodwinds. For trombones with the BOM BOM, BA BA BA DUM. Accent, it’s marked. Same as trumpet. Accents are required. Strong air. Just some suggestions.
