ALF follows the adventures of Gordon Shumway, a furry, wise-cracking alien from the planet Melmac who crash lands into the garage of the Tanner family. The Tanners offer him a home and give him the nickname ALF, short for “Alien Life Form.” Created by Tom Patchett (The Carol Burnett Show) and Paul Fusco (who also performed as ALF), the half-hour sitcom rose to popularity in the late 1980s, cementing itself in the pop culture zeitgeist.

You know, I liked this episode. Before the commercial, we see that Paul can talk on his own without ALF. I think it would have been funnier if Paul took on a life of his own and called the Alien Task Force on ALF. Then the Tanners would have to get rid of Paul before the Alien Task Force gets there. It might have made for a better episode.

Thats not how I remember that episode ending. Alf was talking to the mom about it, the daughter was in the kitchen too but not really part of the conversation, Alf was talking about the dummy but he said that he buried the dummy on ice, right then the daughter opens the freezer, the dummy falls out & she screams & that’s where it ends.
