2:19 the animation could have been clearer. Flip the rectangle with sides b/2, x to the inside square and cancel them all. At the same time you could represent it with the expression: x^2+bx+(b/2)^2, after performing the cancellation it becomes x^2+bx+(b/2)^2 - bx/2

CORRECTION: @7:46 When solving a quadratic equation, the constant term is moved to the right hand side by adding 'square root of 2' to both sides and not subtract it.
@MyWhyU5 жыл бұрын
The video is correct. In general, to move a constant term from the left side of the equation to the right side, the constant must be subtracted from both sides. In this case the constant is negative. Therefore subtracting the negative square root of 2 is the same as adding the positive square root of 2.

5/2 is not five halves, instead its half of Five. am i wrong ?!
@Jinnaku2 жыл бұрын
5 halves is the same as half of five. 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 = 2.5 or 5/2 5÷2 is the same as half of five and also equals 2.5 or 5/2
