When I taught inequalities, my first rule was 1) simplify (if possible) rule 2) was move variables to the left and numbers to the right using only addition and subtraction, do the opposite rule 3) isolate the variable using only multiplication or division, again doing the opposite and rule 4) in step 3) if you used a negative number to isolate the variable, reverse the sign of the equality. This arrangement will point the direction and placement of the arrow! LOVE KHAN ACADEMY, ❤❤❤❤❤

This is truely a revolution in education, You are helping me understand things in each video which I never fully understood in class. From a teacher who has had good teachers: Khan academy > good teachers in current school environments. Khan academy = good teachers in an optimal environment. The difference is the structure in which you are learning. The principle problem with schooling thus far has always been finding a way to make "class learning" possible. It, frankly, isn't possible. Technology like this is the future of education, with teachers doing what they should have able to do always- facilitating growth.

I think it's fair to say Professor Khan knows his math much much more than your average highschool math teacher. The more you understand something, the easier you can explain it to someone. In my experience, most highschool teachers just read chapters from the text book the night before class, and just regurgitate it to the students.
