This course seems a bit more intensive. I'll have to make sure to follow along carefully in the textbook so I don't miss anything critical. At 14:10 when you discuss k^2-{(0,0)} as a quotient I guess you mean SL_2 divided by upper triangular unipotents, right? Otherwise the dimension does not match.
