Algiers is even more amazing live. Ryan is pretty amazing musician. All of them contribute equally to the performance and the sound. Still, I`m so impressed by Ryan, because he is somewhat less visible in the videos, and he does so much live..

Just saw those guys a few hours ago. Before, I had a bad day, they managed to get me back to normal and above. Just a little club gig, but so powerful and amazing. I have to thank Depeche Mode, who had them as opening band on some shows and I discovered them for me. Love these musical connections!

No, Bloc Party fans, Algiers did not “steal” Matt, he left BP because of creative differences and as it turned out, there was a band that just so happened to be looking for a drummer around the time he left.
