on the same topic... when setting up a VPS using windows server OS, disable win auto update! imagine having your robot with multiple open positions and finding out your VPS was offline for 8+ hours....haha

Exactly, problem is eventually Windows forces updates, and you may not be able to stop it.

I still run 9.5 on windows 7. Is there a way to stop getting update notices every 7 days?

I would guess there is a registry setting for this, but I do not know it. Is there a reason you are still using 9.5. 10 has a lot of great new features.
