Hey - we met you two on the lake this weekend! Great shots of a beautiful weekend on the lake. We were only very slightly covetous of your beach site - our site was nice, but you had a lovely beach and visiting moose and leeches. We had a whole bunch of red squirrels haha. See you again on the trail sometime!

@@beautyofthebackcountry so awesome! It was really great to meet you guys on the water. Yes, the site with the beach is really nice. We definitely had our share of red squirrels as well. Lol. Just wondering if you heard the big tree fall around 5:30 AM on Monday? We were packing up camp early and we assume it was a beaver on the far side of the lake that fell tree. Cheers! 😊👍

@@p3outdoors thank you! Yes we have been blessed with an amazing fall for Canoe tripping. Was planning on doing some hot tenting this coming weekend but with the temperatures it might be just another fall canoe trip. I’ll take it! Thanks for the comment. Cheers

Algonquin at this time of year is amazing. Less people in the backcountry, fewer bugs, fantastic temperatures and unmatched scenery.
