They are not his background singers. This is common in the Philippines where friends meeting together and perform. Only Michael's name was on the title to create demand for the other artists' names and that has been effective. 🏆🥰

Yes, it’s a cover. The original song is actually from a Filipino band called South Border back in the early 2000’s. And one of the singers of South Border helped with one of SB19’s songs…I think Mapa.

Our filipino alphabets are very much similar to your American alphabets - vowels and consonants, except for some added letters like the ng and ñ. The only big difference is how we pronounce it. The vowels, a e i o u, are pronounced in only one way. a- ah, e- eh, i- eeeh, o- oh, u- uuh. When combined with consonants like the alphabet 'ng' in Michael's last name Pa-ngi-li-nan it makes a peculiar sound. Here's what you can do to say it properly. Try to open your mouth while the end base, not the tip, of your tongue touches the ceiling of your mouth. While in that position, try to blurt out a sound using the combination of the syllables ngah, ngeh, ngeeh, ngoh, nguuh. The desired sound will come out naturally from your mouth maintaining the said tongue position. It takes a little practice to perfect it. I hope this can help you out.
