The band’s interactions outside of lives and music is so cute and funny, they’re all like a group of brothers and they all make each other laugh in their own way, probably another big reason for why they’ve been together since 2005. They just get along so well. Toru once said that he couldn’t understand how a band could be together if they didn’t like each other.

All three can understand English. but, when it comes to speaking, I don't think they are as fluent as Taka. but toru has written lyrics in English and has given interviews in English. ryota's wife is an English speaker, so the language in the house is English. (As you may know, ryota's wife is Avril Lavigne's sister) tomoya, I have not seen him speak English, but I think he can do the listening.

There's a tv program called Monster Rock where One Ok Rock would appear as their guest and do a bunch of funny stuff, and I'm telling you it's freaking hilarious 😭 But it's really hard to find it on the internet due to Japanese television copyright strict system. I know some of the link where to watch it but there would be no subtitle at all

For broken heart of gold they did a contest. They asked people to make MV's and the selected their MV from the fans. It was quite good

I'm not sure about Tomoya but Toru can speak English and I think Ryota's English should be good enough as well since his wife is Canadian. I think it's more like they prefer not to or are not very comfortable speaking it and usually just let Taka speaks for them in English. There are some interviews with American media in which Toru speaks in English, and also in part one of the "Broken Heart of Gold" making of videos as he's talking with their American producers while recording his guitar parts. I dont remember hearing tomoya speaking english but aside from taka, Toru and Ryota(his wife native eng speaker) for sure can understand!
