Hi there , Have to say that i use extra hard tension Augustine regals and the neck in this guitars use to bow so that depends of the single piece course 1mm is allot of bow as well this guitars can change even more course the bracing inside in not a traditional one but TWO PARALEL STRUTS aare wollding all the top. So that can shake from 9 to 12 mm
