I have this and MA’s Toscano leather (tf dupe), and they both smell very similar I would say 85-90%. Only difference is TL has a darker and deeper scent, and Galatea is softer and slightly sweeter. Both are good, Galatea is slightly more wearable, but TL has a bit more umph. When I first got Galatea I was disappointed because I already have Toscano Leather, and amber and leather (ombré leather clone). But it really grew on me and I can now notice the subtle differences. Overall a solid sub 25 buck buy especially if you don’t own TL or AL.

Hi Sarah, good job on another awesome video. I tried it side by side with Amber and Leather(which is supposed to clone Tom Ford Ombre Leather) from the same house and they were pretty similar. I had my teenage son and wife smell both on tester strip and both thought it was the same fragrance. The difference being the Amber and Leather seem to project slightly more and lasted much longer.

@@yazankhaled2109, I get more of PDM Goldolphin from Galatea and Ombre Leather from Amber& leather, it is made out to clone TF Ombre...even the bottle was made to look like TF

Thanks Sarah! Godolphin probably my go-to leather atm. Very stable blend, easily layerable and exceptional performance. In fact, compared to something like Afnan's Rare Carbon (a take on Ombre Leather), I barely smell leather in that one. More of a smoky-fruity scent. Strange Alhambra hasn't done Layton or Oajan though. Maybe in the future?

Galatea is 98% to Godolphin! Luxury, sweet and floral leather note which is wearable in almost every situation and all seasons. For me this scent is very unique and not comparable with TL or LY. I really love it and it‘s a huge compliment getter, because of the floral leather note. Performance is also on top but not aggressive like other leather fragrances. 1000% get it as long you can.

@@Katalin04 are miros tipic de piele din parfumurile Tom Ford la inceput, dar pe urma incepe sa tinda catre o zona pudrata (ca de trusa de machiaj - cam ce gasesti in Valentino Uomo Intense/ Dior Homme Parfum) fara sa ia prim-planul notei de piele.. persistenta e foarte buna - practic il miros pana cand fac dus, dar nu e niciodata foarte tipator...

Was a blind buy for me three it in coz it was cdn$ 16. I enjoy it, i dont have pdm to compare with. Its a slightly fruity leather on me. Nice for fall weather.

I have some questions that i would appreciate if you would answer me with honesty: 1. If you spray galatea in your right hand and godolphin on your left hand, do they smell identical? 2. Does galatea smell synthetic compared to godolphin? 3. Doesn't Godolphin smell more "quality" compared to galatea? I would say that i really care less about the performance. I just like to smell good like if somebody smells you they will know that you are wearing a quality fragrance. So far with my experience with Lattafa fragrances, they perform veeery good but to me, they smell cheap. When i smell them on other people, they smell cheap. I hope you get it why asked you these questions ^^

There's a $150 price difference, so smelling them on each hand makes it apparent. Will others notice a difference in the air? Maybe, but people that aren't into fragrances probably won't. If you want top quality, obviously go with the OG. If you want something really similar that most people won't notice a difference with, get the clone.

Hey sarah, any recommendations on a more masculine leather? I like the first couple hours of tuscan leather- almost gasoline like - but on my skin the dry down makes me smell like a woman, likely from the jasmine. I just end up smelling way too flowery. Ombre leather also does the same thing but to a lesser degree. I skipped out on la yuqawam as the general sentiment seems to be that its sweeter than tuscan leather.

That's tough because it sounds like your skin chemistry pulls florals. If you can, try to find Jesus del Pozo Dark Saffron Nights. That one is much darker on me and not talked about enough.

If you have Tuscan Leather, Ombre Leather, Afnan Rare Carbon or any Tom Ford "leather" dupe, you do not need Galatea. They smell nearly identical!

Amber and Leather is great especially for the price, but only issue is the longevity isn’t the best. Toscano leather is in the same dna as amber and leather but it’s better longevity and performance, but some might not like the raspberry note.

I own over one hundred bottles of fragrances, designer, middle eastern and lots of vintage 80’s and 90’s and I have a ton of Rassasi and Out of all my bottles which are mostly full, I finished one bottle of Hawas and a bottle of Daarej and I finished a bottle of Shaghaf,,, super dumb reaches for sure and compliments galore but not really to Sophisticatedly intriguing any sense, those are just some super amazing staples that are good to have in the arsenal. When I smell Pegasus it makes me want to vomit. Armaf craze smells gross to my nose too, headache inducer.

jorge de profumo is very good clone of adg profumo . opening is same , in dry down jorge is a bit less sweat and less aquatic as coompares to adg. but regarding price tag, its worth to buy
