They sit at home enjoying the percentage ($) from the licence and contract. Later the Chinese towkey gets richer and richer but the malays remain like that for years and years. To be honest, NEP did help the malays in general to improve their living conditions and education level. But at the same time it also gave opportunity for greedy people like the ali babas to prosper. I think NEP has served it's objective and such policies should no longer required irregardles of whether the statistical objectives have been met. It is time the bumis outgrow these crutches and show that they are as strong as anybody to survive in this world!

Whenever there is some new project implemented the tenders are given to one individual who must have the primary qualification of being a crony . This individual then forms a company and sublets contracts to others , like the taxi permits that were to go to ex military and police personal on a individual basis . We all know what happened . This is not just Ali Baba but Ali to numerous middleman and than to Baba . You can imagine how mush the costs will rise to give all these leaches a cut of the profits .
