THE 'key' tensioner part looks to be held in with a small grub screw so you could make a reverse key for the YALE and maybe a simple straight etc.

Bit would the flag orientation be ok?

@@LockNoob good point, if you have the tools fin a steel or brass perhaps bar drill in to the end for the inner radius of the flag the dremel grind the rest away to leave a mirror flag. The flag has a grub screw holding it into the handle. In theory you could make it adaptable to different keyways. Now I'm wondering if you could also make inserts to do disk tumbler locks should you be inclined as that's also tension and rotations

I noticed a set screw on the main body part. Would that be removable to flip over the key blank to fit the Yale warding?

Maybe I'm mistaken, but looking at 0.44, is it possible the keyway blade can be unscrewed and rotated, for the 'wrong handed' locks?

I've looked at this tool on my channel and would say your conclusions are spot on. I would like to add that I thought the picking tip and shaft does seem to have excess movement when picking. You tend to, well it feels like you have to over rotate to lift the pins fully. For me it's well worth the money. 😉👍

Sorry I’ve not checked you vid out. I will go rectify that! I think for £20 it’s a good price, but like all other picks of this type, it’s a little restricted to only working in a few different locks.

"AB lock" refers to a dimple lock with two sets of keys. You can give the A set to the workers so that they can decorate your house for you. After the decoration is completed, you can turn the lock cylinder in the opposite direction and arrange the pins layout from A Convert to B,some how,But its basically generic dimple lock name in china

As far as I know, this kind of security is not good. Only one or two pins will be changed, and the traces are relatively obvious. Using key A to making a key B in China only costs about 15CNY (2USD).

Looks like that key blade is retained by a set screw and can be swapped out. Maybe cut down a blank key to make alternate blades?

For the AB=dimple, because usually dimple lock in china have the A key for renovation worker and B key for owner. and they shorten it as AB... I just google it in chinese. should be true lol
