Tony England No, this was shown to a live studio audience, with their reactions recorded. A ‘laugh track’, in which pre-recorded laughter from a different source or sources is simply played over something, has not been used for decades, so you are in fact an idiot, like the other poster.

This is the first Ali G sketch i ever saw and remains my favourite one of all time!! Agree with the person below - Ali G became too commercialised and by the time the movie came out the character was very annoying and really naff. ESP with the crap impersonations like Richard Madeley. Embarrassing.
