And then, when you watch the interviews now, where they speak about how difficult it was to not be able to talk about it, and how happy they are that they now can be the way they are...It makes me angry that they (felt) they could not be themselves for so long. 8 Years. What bother me I that the medical team puts Ali on the back board with her head at the bottom of board. The board are thinner at the top and have strap holes for straps to stabilize her head and neck. Glad she did not have a fractured neck!

Gina Peterson you’ve got that backwards. The wider part is the top for the shoulders and there’s a “head bed” that gets applied to the board after they’re on it to stabilize the neck and head.

I worked at a level I trauma hospital covering 5 states. They did not use safe spinal cord precautions when turning her and did not stabilize her head.
